Friday 17th August at the Bisley National Championships. This year Ruislip Rifle Club won the club stage of the competition and was pleased to represent Middlesex in the County stage at Bisley. The atmosphere all week had been hot and humid throughout every day and night. On Wednesday afternoon there was a light sprinkling of rain for a few minutes across the ranges, which only increased the humidity and made the mirage even worse.
