The Middlesex Small-Bore Rifle Association exists to bring together small-bore rifle and airgun clubs located within the County of Middlesex, and organise teams to represent the County in competitions. We also represent our clubs and shooters at the national level, through the NSRA.

Winter season only
10 shots at 50m or 100yd (as appropriate) per round, 10 rounds

  • Entries close early September
  • Winner of the handicap final wins an award (TBD)
  • Local Scoring - Cards to be scored by a nominated club member

Double Dewar (40 shots at 50m and 100 yards)

  • Hendon Rifle Club on the fourth Sunday in July.
  • Open and Confined events
  • Open event prizes in engraved glassware

Club teams of 3, 10 rounds at 25, 20 or 15 yards. 10 shots in 90 seconds, 1 min. skirmisher per shooter per round.

  • Winning team in Division 1 wins the Time Limit Cup
  • Members of the winning team in each division win Middlesex Medals
  • Entries close end-August (Also open to non-Middlesex shooters)

Open to Middlesex Residents under the age of 21

  • 2 x 10 shots at 25, 20 or 15 yards per month, in July, August and September.
  • Highest aggregate wins the Norman Rex Trophy
  • Highest handicap score wins the Jubilee Cup
  • Entries close end June

Summer League

Club teams of 4, 10 shots per shooter per round, 10 rounds at 25, 20 or 15 yards

  • Members of the winning team in each division win Middlesex Medals
  • Highest individual overall wins a Middlesex Shield
  • Winning team in the handicap final win the EMI Cup
  • Winning individual in the handicap individual final wins a Middlesex Shield
  • Entries close mid-February (Also open to non-Middlesex shooters)
